Small local businesses are the backbone of our community. They are owned by or employ our family, neighbours, and friends. During this difficult time, local WA family businesses Think Embroidery & Print and Renome joined forces and created a t-shirt campaign where local businesses and creatives could sell their own custom t-shirt to raise much needed funds to cover the cost of running a business during these uncertain times. 

 

Free of charge, the campaign designs, prints and sells custom t-shirts for participating businesses/creatives via the website www.supportperthlocal.com.au The business/creative receives $10 from the sale of each merch item.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

The campaign is open to any Western Australian small business or creative. Entry to the campaign may be capped subject to demand and the operational capacity or the Support Perth Local team. In this case, interested businesses and creatives will be placed on a waitlist. 

 

DURATION OF CAMPAIGN

The campaign is projected to run from 1 May 2020 to 31 October 2020. Subject to demand the campaign dates may be altered.

 

HOW DOES IT WORK? 

  • Register your interest by sending through your details via our "REGISTER YOUR BUSINESS" tab

  • Submit your design or logo in a vector .eps or .ai file 

  • Pick a shirt colour (max 2 tshirt colours provided ink colour is the same)

  • Our team will design a concept and once approved, upload it to our online store ready for purchase

  • You promote your merch to your networks

  • 20 pre-orders are needed to get your shirt into production. If 20 preorders are not met, refunds will be arranged. 

  • Each t-shirt is priced based on the artwork and number of colours. $10 from each sale goes directly back to your business. The remaining funds covers the cost of blank apparel, printing and labour costs and packaging. Postage is charged at a flat $10 (regardless of quantity in a single order) and sent via Australia Post. Pick up option from local business is also available free of charge. 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

It is absolutely VITAL that you help promote your own custom t-shirt to your followers, fans, family and friends. It is your networks that are most interested in what you offer and most likely to support you!

 

HOW YOU GET PAID

Once a pre order of 20 garments have been received, our team will process and print each batch. Payment will be made directly to a chosen bank or paypal account once each batch has been completed. 

 

COPYRIGHT + INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • Submitted artwork must be your own and contain no copyrighted material from others.

  • You remain the owner of your artwork at all times and simply grant permission for use on your t-shirt (or any otherwise authorised item) for the purpose of this campaign only.

  • You grant permission to use your artwork for any advertising purposes in relation to this campaign (i.e. social media posts in relation to the Support Perth Local campaign)
